"TASTE OF ASIA"  (Wednesday, April 30, 6-9pm, Newman Center)

Student Organization Sign-Ups

You and/or your student organization are invited to participate in this
year's "Taste of Asia" where  we will be offering 'hands on 
experiences'
that highlight Asian culture.

Some organizations are interested in demonstrating, Indian henna,
Chinese calligraphy, Japanese sushi, Vietnamese spring rolls, and
special food carvings.  We would also like to offer demonstrations such
as Feng Shui, origami, and paper cuts, but these are just examples. We
invite you to do any of these or come up with your own ideas!

All the Asian and Asian American student organizations are encouraged
to participate in this event. This will give the organizations much
exposure as this is one of the most popular events of the Asian 
American
Heritage month .A good number of people are expected this year both 
from
the NIU and DeKalb community as well.

AND/OR, if you or your organization is interested in preparing an Asian
dish to add to our buffet, please let us know!  Tables will be assigned
to each group for demonstrations, so please sign up below to secure a
spot.
