Course description: We will discuss the physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development of people from conception to death.  My goal is to present information about this broad range of content so that students can gain knowledge to apply to future careers, research, and/or life experiences. This class is a general education course - more specific course objectives are available in your printed syllabus.

Required text: Kail & Cavanaugh (2003). Human Development (3rd ed.). Wadsworth.

Course requirements: Final grades will be based upon the total percentage points earned throughout the semester.  Points are earned via three non-cumulative exams and five periodic (and unannounced) in-class assignments.  Extra credit points are available based on attendance. No make-up exams are allowed.
