Detroit Red Wings

1997 and 1998 Stanley Cup Champions

The Detroit Red continue to set the standard for hockey in the National Hockey League.

The Wings brought Hockeytown Wings its second-consecutive Stanley Cup in June. The Wings were the first club since the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1993 to repeat as cha mpions.

With such All-Stars as Steve Yzerman, Sergei Federov and Nikolas Lidstrom and with head coach Scotty Bowman back at the helm, the Red Wings appear to be headed for their third-straight title.
