Slammin' Sammy Sosa

Sammy has been known as the second coming of Ernie Banks and Hack Wilson in the rich tradition of Chicago Cubs Baseball.

This fine speciman of a ball player challenged numerous record in the 1998 baseball season, one of the greatest being the race to be the home run champion.

Outside of being a hero on the ball field, Sammy was also a great hero to his people back home in the Dominican Republic.
