Kenneth Honea

Associate Professor Emeritus
Professor Honea is a prehistoric archaeologist with specific interests
focused on temporal and cultural adaptation strategies of Palaeolithic
technocomplexes in Southeast Europe. For over 14 years, his
research has centered on Middle and Upper Palaeolithic sites in
Romania by application of conventional radiocarbon and accelerator
mass spectrometry methods. He has also worked widely in Mediterranean
Europe and in the American Southwest. Emeritus Professor Honea
taught courses on prehistoric archaeology, archaeology of Europe,
archaeological dating methods, and lithic and ceramic technology.
