Wundt-style tachistoscope

This is a device designed to present a visual stimulus for a very short adjustable exposure time by using a gravity operated falling shutter. The onset of the drop (fall) of the shutter is controlled by solenoids. (Expanded caption Copyright 1998, Edward J. Haupt)
