Kimberly Barnard

Kym has a B.S. in psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, where she did research on expository metaphor with Herb Colston. She is  currently a Student at Large at NIU and will begin work on a Ph.D. in cognitive psychology in the Fall of 2003. Her primary interests are 
abstract concepts and figurative language. 

 



Meredith Larson

Meredith is a graduate student at NIU.  She is currently working on her second MA in cognitive psychology, having earned her first in English/linguistics, and will transfer to Northwestern University in the Fall of 2003 to work on a PhD in cognition and language. Her primary interests are in concept inhibition/suppression and developmental pragmatics.
